Tratter Engineering MES Project

Tratter Engineering was born in Bolzano in 1998, founded by the three brothers Gerhard, Wilfried and Christian Tratter. From the beginning it dealt with plastic molding in the most diverse sectors, gradually specializing in the automotive branch and starting important collaborations with the big brands of the international automotive industry. Innovative solutions for exclusive patents, research and constant improvement of processes allow the company to grow and expand its market to other sectors. Today Tratter is active with three production centers (Italy, Austria and Poland) and has over 100 employees within the Group.

The challenge

• Interconnect the entire production ecosystem (management, ERP and systems) to obtain structured process information;
• Create production plans that are synchronized and immediately available for the departments, as well as instantly updateable according to needs;
• Monitor office production in real time;
• Eliminate paper steps and reduce associated errors;
• Define standard indicators to measure overall efficiency.
